This may not be for reservation holders. My Guide told me there is a get together of some staff from outside the area (a meet-and-greet) happening at the factory.

Are the two groups exclusionary?

No, but based on conversations I've had with Rivian employees (namely Tony Caravano, Rivian’s senior director of customer experience; Sophia Park, Color and Material Designer; and Brian Gase, Rivian chief engineer of special projects) who have reservations, they get moved to a lower priority than non-employee reservation holders.

I don’t know, to each their own, but dirty El Cap leaves me disappointed color-wise. Bland.
More concerning to me is the amount of dirt and mud getting through the hole in the front fender flare. Clearly these guys were doing some serious mudding, but it’s still an indicator of how much grime is going to splash up onto the vehicles.

Reminds me of the old Eddie Bauer Fords

It's so funny - every time I see those pictures from Virginia as I'm scrolling through threads, these Eddie Bauers with the light brown two-tone are the first thing that pops into mind. Glad I'm not the only one.

Sorry, why is this "concerning"?

Because it will splash mall parking lot water onto his vehicle. Do you know how dangerous mall parking lot water is? Wal-Mart parking lot water is even worse. Parking lot diapers have touched the parking lot water at Wal-mart.

Sorry. I couldn't resist.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not, so I'll answer in a serious manner.

Because I take pride in keeping the things I have looking good. I live by the mantra that there's no reason to buy nice things if you're not going to keep them nice. I keep my vehicles clean, because I consider them an extension of myself and my personality. I also have a touch of OCD.

If there's a hole that allows constant splashing of dirt/mud/whatever onto the side of my car every time I drive it, it will be very frustrating for me. That's why it's concerning to see how much dirt is coming through on those photos.

That dirt on the side of the trucks is due to the front tires turning on the trail while wet and muddy. Nothing except super wide fender flares can prevent it, on any vehicle.

Not an issue when driving in a straight line or most on road scenarios, but pretty much a certainty when driving on winding trails.

Wait... Your saying if I take my R1 off road on muddy trails it might get dirty... I might have to rethink my purchase now....
