Super happy to see Rivian doing so well, but can't deny I feel a little bit of jealousy when I rolled to the Costco/Target shopping center today and passed a grey R1T, a blue R1S, and then saw a white R1S parked in the lot... Anyone else?

That's why I don't wave to other Rivian drivers.

Just this morning I was driving in the middle of no where SW MN and met a Blue R1T on the interstate. One of the only times seeing another one in our part of the state.

I'm not jealous but I see them everywhere around here. Just earlier this week, as I pulled out of my alleyway, an R1T came up right behind me.

That's a lot of manliness in one place.

There are so many around here that most folks don't bother waving anymore. I pass 4 or 5 almost every day on the way to/from work now.

I charged last night at the RAN in Crescent on my way to Bend. I looked up from my iPhone (I’m a tech connoisseur) to see someone waving their arms and saying something from the front passenger seat. I got out of the truck and the only thing I made out was “Get a real car" before the vehicle drove off. I didn’t have time to say "But…But…I”m a connoisseur.”

The Count eagerly awaits his Grenadier so he can stand out amongst all the Rivian owners.

We live in the far western Florida Panhandle in the Central Time Zone. We are over 300 miles from the nearest Rivian Service Center. We are starting to see at least one other Rivian on the road every time we venture out. Most have out of state tags, but they are here and about in greater numbers than ever before. Many people from Atlanta and Nashville own second homes here. Most of the Rivians we are seeing have Georgia or Tennessee tags.

It is nice to see all these visiting Rivians. Most that we are seeing are the R1S version. We do always wave.

I'm glad I don't stand out as much anymore personally. Driving around feeling like a museum exhibit gets old.

That has been an unexpected treat with the subie my wife just bought. Nobody pays attention to it on our trips to the opera, unlike the 911 or R1S.

I'm in the Denver metro, so I see Rivians all the time. Not a day goes by that I don't see a Rivian while out and about. Normally, I'm with you - I'm a car guy and I typically like driving unique vehicles, but I love seeing Rivians all over the place. It's a fantastic sign that the brand is successful and desirable beyond the iconoclastic fanboys.

The area I live in is kind of funny as it is semi rural, but a lot of people have a lot of money. We will have relatives come from out of town and say "look at that car!" And it is one of a million 7 series, land rovers, g wagons, decked out suburbans, escalades, Maseratis, challengers, porches, bnws, Mercedes... The list goes on. It like "oh... Hea... Well those people have to get their groceries too"

The story above about people actually taking time to drive up to a charger and make fun of someone is unreal. It would never happen here either because you never know who people are here.
