Yes, people were told by their guides that significant and frequent updates would be coming in late June/early July. We were also told by RJ that communication on progress would be received in "the coming weeks"...which was now 3 weeks ago and counting. If I remember right, a few of the people who were contacted by guides were told to expect more info to be released in July. Has anyone who was contacted by a guide been given an updated timeline for when that info would be released?
Just finished my Rivian Guide Introductory Meeting (Summary):...
2) Educational Materials: July - a number of these will start in early July, and provide us ~weekly updates for 3-4 weeks.
So my guide experience was similar to everyone else's. Took 15 minutes and just confirmed a few things here and there. I was told she would email lots of education in the coming weeks when it was released.
The more I watch this video, the more I realize that it is not for us. It is marketing material for their upcoming IPO.
UI Looks pretty awesome. Note the Icons, sadly steering wheel is in the way of range but love the wood grain.![]()

Acceleration wise, they are on loose surface, the best acceleration is equal to all 4 tires getting grip so it will take a few miliseconds to calculate and go slowly off the line. On a track I am sure it would be fast.

Suspension Travel is king, love the clearance and love that fact that it can do all of this.
I'm starting to think that he might be a Rivian mole. He's even adopted the Rivian lingo of telling us nothing while also telling us that he'll give us more info...soon. I think he must be directly related to someone on Rivian's comms teamSure seems like this John Rhodes fellow has the inside track to Rivian. I see on the facebook group that he has already gotten several things from the company including a water bottle for being part of a focus group and the blanket that is the same as the wrap that they had the video of the kids coloring and now gets more stuff for this event. I hope he is a good representative for us reservation holders. Can't say that I am not jealous but I am definitely happy to see progress.
Of course I'm just joking...mostly.I have never experienced a vehicle that can do so many things so well. It was unbelievable! Much more to come, so stay tuned.
Just make the thing. just do it.I’m just glad some real people are getting to see and drive the trucks. ?
You think it’s just a coincidence the video (commercial) is 58 seconds long? The more I watch this video, the more I realize that it is not for us. It is marketing material for their upcoming IPO.
Lots of stuff on Insta and Twitter is sub-1 minute because people have short attention spans, so I personally don't read too much into this one being 58 seconds. They could have used that 58 seconds very differently if they wanted it to be an actual update or feature reveal as opposed to "look how much fun these 6 people are having in our trucks".You think it’s just a coincidence the video (commercial) is 58 seconds long?
