Did you post in the "first thing you did" thread that you re-routed the fluid lines like this?

Rivian R1T R1S Rivian scores BIG in Consumer Reports! #1 on List of "Owner Satisfaction by Brand" john-travolta-battlefield-earth
Unfortunately, I'm not that smart or handy.

Instead, I had my girlfriend hold onto the wiper stalk while I stood outside of the truck and placed my face as close as possible to the windshield and took deep long sniffs.

Coincidentally, I'm now single.

LOL. This is too funny.

It was only a month or two ago that people here were shitting on CR and saying no one believes in these fake standings after Rivian was listed as unreliable.

Now, some are happy to flaunt about Rivian topping this list. As if this was true but other CR rankings aren’t.

Everyone? Are you reading the same thread? CR is an arbitrary joke. Many have pointed that out.

I'm sorry, but again, if they can't figure out how to one pedal drive, their opinion isn't valid.

I just replaced the front tires on my R1T, after 9,000 miles. I do not drive on the Eco setting, front wheel drive, as I did read about that issue. My tire guy said he has replaced a few R1Ts and 9,000 miles is about average. Tires are always aligned and balanced when installed.
Does anybody have the same issue with their tires? Does anybody have better results?
I use the recommended Pirelli Scorpion 275/55/R21 which is suppose to be rated as a 60K mile tire.

Questionnaire did not ask about glass roof, CarPlay, audio quality, vampire infestation, ice build up on headlights, weak heater, key fob, PAAK, wind noise, clickity suspension, the clown horn, 12V outlets, service centers, guides who are actually ghosts, crappy wipers….

It asked only about bubble gum scented washer fluid.

Hey! But I love the horn!

She must be a Porsche driver haha
Been driving Porsche for 30+ years. My 911 has been in the garage under a cover since we got our R1S. While driving it the other day, I said to my wife, “Odd, this car Is the polar opposite of almost everything I’ve loved about driving - sound, shifting, low ride, etc, but I absolutely LOVE driving it!”

The two CR reports on reliability and satisfaction sum up my experience perfectly - minor issues but still by far the most amazing vehicle I have owned and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else (and I tell everyone that asks).

Regardless of what the surveys say, we love our dear Opal (our R1T). She has been a dream to own and operate. We really like the one pedal driving. I feel that it gives me much better control of the vehicle and has made me a better driver. OPD makes me pay more attention to operating the vehicle and less attention to peripheral crap.

The folks who can't figure out the one pedal driving most likely never mastered driving a vehicle with a manual transmission.

As with all of these surveys, it really matters how you ask the questions you ask and whether you are polling a representative sample of owners.

People who are unhappy are motivated to vent and complain in forums and so they become over represented in the larger population of owners. This isn't unique to Rivian.

I think the majority of owners who have rated Rivian positively are coming from ICE vehicles where the Rivian is their first EV and it is really life changing. They are also likely willing to put up with the small stuff that might bug others.

It is also critical when in the ownership experience people were being polled. Views can change if you experience issues later in your experience and then also have poor service experiences.

One CR editor also said the R1S is her least favorite vehicle and it was an easy decision (jump to 8:10):
Wow. I can say I never have put much stock in any opinion from CR but watching that is unbelievable. Maybe they should stick to reviewing household items like vacuums.

My comment was in regards to that Porsche EVs don’t offer one-pedal driving ?
