ha! I actually did. LMAO. What a dumbass. I was thinking 3 mi/kwh and inverted the units.?
3kwh is 2.2% of 135kwh battery pack. And 2.2% of the 300 mile range is 6.6 miles. Did I also made a math error?

AND AWAY WE GO!!

Thanks for pointing that out. That was very informative, and I missed it after watching the first one.second video in the story. About halfway down. it's 16 minutes long.
It would be a shame to not use some or all of those 11 cameras for front, rear and 360 views. This is like the biggest update they've given. Lets gather the main points from the email and video Q&A:
Am I missing anything?
- V2H capable in the future!
- App coming in early September!!
- Online purchasing will be available next month and will only take around 15 mins. (I'm guessing for only people who have only been contacted by a guide).
- Camp Kitchen can run for weeks (if for some reason you weren't going to drive anywhere for that amount of time), very small power draw.
- Sounds like it will have a form of sentry mode, akin to Tesla, that will be coordinated with their Rivian insurance.
- Has the next generation lithium batteries from LG, and will be developing their own battery cells in house with a whole supply chain end to end to build them.
- The 11 cameras and several sensors will map off road areas that to this point have not been previously mapped. He referred to it as something similar to an off-road Google street view vehicle
- Sounds like they are ready to start producing production vehicle now pending approval, from email: "With all of this, I am excited to report we have started producing vehicles that reflect all of our quality iterations and design refinements."
Pretty sure RJ mentioned the front and rear views as certain features in the q&a video, and it's hard to see why they wouldn't include 360 with that array. It would be a shame to not use some or all of those 11 cameras for front, rear and 360 views.
People are way too hung up in this. The electrical work you’ll need to do to your home will be seriously expensive. Then you won’t be able to have a back up unless you are home. What happens when you’re at work with your truck and your family is home? You need to leave early to get home? Also, what if you need to leave home?Deliveries are still on track for September! Yes!!! I’m so excited! It’s actually happening!! Also, future V2H is an awesome feature, I wonder if the back up is comparable to the Lightning?
I’ll have to watch it again, but I’m pretty sure he said it’s just not turned on in the firmware they were using. Zero reason for them to not have 360 views. All the competition has it.Pretty sure RJ mentioned the front and rear views as certain features in the q&a video, and it's hard to see why they wouldn't include 360 with that array.
I think v2h could be great for people with solar without battery back up that work 9-5. During the day solar will provide power, evening early night [rates are higher] then the truck works as a back up and past mid night when rates are lower then the truck can charge.People are way too hung up in this. In emergencies I’m all for a generator. By the time you do all the electrical work, just add the generator to take full advantage. Or buy a Tesla powerwall for peak shaving as well.
I also have the opinion buyers of these awesome vehicles don’t care to have them drive themselves. I’ve driven Tesla autopilot and it’s nothing more then a bar trick. Requires more of my attention then just driving.
Without battery back-up the system is generally grid-tied, like mine, which means if the power is out, you’re not producing.I think v2h could be great for people with solar without battery back up that work 9-5. I dont have solar so it's just a guess ATM ?
Tesla doesn’t.I’ll have to watch it again, but I’m pretty sure he said it’s just not turned on in the firmware they were using. Zero reason for them to not have 360 views. All the competition has it.
I was thinking of audi, Mercedes, Land Rover, bmw, Infiniti, Lexus, etc.Tesla doesn’t.
If you don’t think Tesla is a competitor then I don’t know what to say.I was thinking of audi, Mercedes, Land Rover, bmw, Infiniti, Lexus, etc.
the luxury brands rivian Is targeting.
