the R2 is a great vehicle and for those who dont need a 3rd row it appears to be a better one than the R1S. i think basically 95% of R1S owners arent going to need or even use the offroad capability of the R1S, so the R2 is better in that sense. sorry to those who bought the R1S - should have waited.

the R3 and R3x is sweet. if it comes in at $40k, its going to be insane.
Unclear what the second row legroom is so I wouldn’t jump to conclusions that the 2 fits most people better.

this totally reminds me of those 1980’s Group B Rally cars. I’m all in when it is available. The R3X will be a blast on dirt and gravel roads…. Traction control Mode Off option, please.

I’m waiting for Elon the Magnificent to pontificate on Rivian and the R3X, lol.

My son loved this specific Raoul character In Cars. He would hold the toy car in his hands daily.

R3X is a match made in heaven for him. I wouldn’t mind doing some rally racing in it myself.

I grew up playing rally racing games and feel like this would be right up my alley instead of a GTI.

Never saw myself as a hot-hatch person, but the more I see it the more I'm really liking it! Hopefully it'll have a lower entry-level price so I'm not as nervous about off-roading and scratches as I am with the R1T.

I wonder how these dials are going to feel, and how smooth they're going to rotate inside of the wheel? I'm hoping for a really nice tactile click on every turn.

Does anyone remember the old Volkswagen Sciroccos?

You buy 1000 shares first and reserve the R2 model so the company stays alive.

Once R2 launches and we get to profitability, R3 will be available to reserve and you can buy another 1000 shares at that time too.
Buying shares doesn't help the company stay alive unless they do a supplemental offering - otherwise it just puts $$$ in the pocket of the shareholder(s) who sold them.
