In a bit of "Where's Waldo"...Did anyone else notice that the image on the driver's screen doesn't match what you're seeing out the front window? Could it be showing the rear camera view instead?

Those yellow lines do make it look like a back-up camera view.

I’ve always wondered the same thing with the display showing all the cars next to and in front of you. I want that display to zoom out and show the cars in my blind spots and behind me instead!

I use the front camera on hills that create nearly zero visibility of the road/cars ahead of me so it allows me to see if cars are coming up the other side of the hill when I’m at the top.

I've seen vehicles whose hoods were SO high, they couldn't see the standard cones we were using for traffic control. We had to buy taller cones, I think around 48" tall, for basic traffic control at a vaccination site....

There are a lot of children who don't show up in front because the hood is taller than they are. Turning on the front camera, when there's any chance of anything I didn't see -- gives me the reassurance to drive forward.

That being said, I have ZERO use for the driver's display showing me -- vaguely and sometimes inaccurately -- icons for what's both ahead of me AND visible through the windshield. For the default, show me what's behind me (including things that are far behind me and closing fast) instead of what my eyes are already seeing without the vehicle's help....

This would make a lot more sense frankly, though one can hope its optional which camera is shown.

D-oh! I forgot about that part.

I knew about the trail mapping, and am still missing that. But forgot (or never noticed) that feature on the dash.
