Since taking ownership over 1 year ago, I have used the PAAK as my primary entry/exit key with the key card only for car cleaning or valet. I have not used the fob.

What is everyone’s primary, and why did you shoes it?
In my delusional dreams, I use my Apple Watch.

Fob most of the time. But the battery drains fast, replacing batteries every 60 days.

Phone 98% of the time. I only grab the fob when I leave my R1S with someone (service, etc) and use the wristband when doing something stupid wherein my phone might be damaged or lost. I have the card in my wallet as backup.

After losing my key-fob once I only use PAAK and have the backup card in my walled, did by the replacement for Key Fob, but parked in in a drawer to not lose it again

Key card when I'm spending time in the ocean, fob otherwise.

I use PAAK almost exclusively. I carry the key card in my wallet just in case something happens. I remember when their system went down and everyone who used PAAK was locked out of their vehicles. I thankfully had my backup card on me.

I only have PAAK and need to search for the fob/keys. So I ever need those?

Take delivery of R1S this Saturday and coming from a Tesla Y, I just assumed this adventure branded tech company would have Bluetooth watch-as-key feature. Reading through this, what a complete bummer. I bike and run a lot and it's gonna feel like going back in the stone ages having to carry a phone, fob, or card on runs with me. Still looking forward to getting my awesome R1S, but man this is a bummer.
What's the hold up anyways? They don't even have to develop it. Tesla hasn't natively. They just open it up to any key to register and then 3rd party apps in the store make their own programs (such as "Watch for Tesla"). Work smarter not harder Rivian! :)

They do have a wristband Key that came with the first editions. Might be worth asking your service center if they have any you can buy (or someone on here probably has one they would sell). They were supposed to put them on the gear shop but I don't think they ever did.

Ah, yeah, that would work. I could live with that.

I have the paak set up and use it, but the fob for the rivian is the best I've seen. Love the carabineer design and the frunk button is so satisfying.

The key fob is the best you’ve ever seen? Try using it in the dark ?

I guess I havent seen that many then! None of my priors glowed or anything.

I just think it looks cool and is nice to hold.
