R1T's shipping with Powered Tonneau Covers?

Anyone know if the R1Ts that are optioned with the powered tonneau covers are being delivered with the new design, or are they needing to get retrofitted? Taking delivery in 2 weeks, so I'm just wondering what to expect.

It’s hard to say since this is my first one but it seems to be much smoother. Certainly doesn’t make that clunking noise when it opens like the old ones did. I’m hoping it lasts!

We just picked ours up a week ago and it wasn't included. We're on the list for install with no timeline.

There doesn't seem to be a way to tell if they'll actually arrive with the cover installed.

I ordered a ‘24 from the Shop, and my last update claimed it was on a train so it should be a recent build.

I just picked my 24 up yesterday, it came with the powered cover. The delivery person said it was the first one he’d seen in a long time (Chelsea, MA). Works great!

There seems to be some speculation as to when the covers started to come installed on 2024 builds. I’ve heard mid-March build dates.

For reference, I saw one at my local SC (Miami, FL) with a build date of 03/26 and it came pre installed with the to tonneau cover.

Additionally, I saw another with a build date of 03/12 and it did not have one pre-installed despite it being configured with one. So maybe mid March seems to be the cutoff?

I’m curious to know your results.

Bummer. If you ask your guide they can provide the actual build date of your truck. They can look up your individual VIN # and it would tell them the exact date the truck was manufactured. Hopefully we can start trying to narrow down the dates the tonneau covers started to come pre-installed from the factory. All my research so far has pointed to mid-March.
