Alexa dead?

Since yesterday morning my R1S cannot connect to Alexa.
Tried an infotainment reset to no avail.
Tried to sign out and sign in again then has an error on the Amazon page that the server it’s trying to connect is probably down.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Mine hasn't been working, either. I haven't bothered to try and troubleshoot

I’ve had that a few times. Sign out of Alexa and then reboot the truck. It should come back and you’ll have to log in again. I’ve had to do it twice now.

Took delivery on Dec 1, 2023 and Alexa has only worked 1/10 of that time. Updates makes her go away, air makes her not work, )) she is very finicky and right now she is not working and has been the biggest disappointment of the R1S so far. When you say reboot, what do you mean? Soft reset or hard reset? specifics if you have the time? Thx, JB

I did a soft reset (external steering wheel buttons) and login again.

Alexa use to respond verbally when I would tell her to play music. Now, she just plays the music with no responses? I've tried the info reset with no luck. Any suggestions?

For the last year Alexa has stopped working intermittantly and I have had to do a soft reset 2-3 times per month to fix. Several times I have had to do a hard reset. With the latest release Alexa has been very slow. I am not sure if it is due to the connectivity of the Rivian or an issue with Alexa, but sometimes it takes her a whole minute to respond.

Just got our new R1S and could not get Alexa to do ANYTHING.. I did a soft reboot and no-go... THEN I turned off the Wi-Fi and relied on cellular and got her up and running... Strangely my wi-fi was the stronger of the two signals, but maybe it was a battle for dominance...??‍
