Layout of local Supercharger. What would you do?

This is the closest Supercharger (v3) that I intent to use on the regular. I think I have the right idea regarding etiquette. Looking for confirmation or feedback on what you would do instead.

This site was definitely planned for Tesla-only. Either front-in or rear-in. There are 16 hook-ups total. Two are out-of-frame to the right, next to the back of the strip mall shops, with the units centered and facing their respective spaces. One of these two is marked handicapped, which I am not (otherwise, width of space is perfect for charging a Rivian head-in). The other is right up against landscaping and its cable is most likely too short. So, that leaves the row of 14 chargers that I could utilize. I've charged here three times.

Option A... First of the row, where you see the rear of the white Model S. Charger is out of frame to the left and placed at end of the parking space (near fire lane). When charging here, I pulled forward as much as I could, leaving maybe 1/3 of the back of my T poking out. Not rendering any other chargers inaccessible.

Option B... Further down the row, where there are two chargers placed on the line, but I parked all the way forward to the curb and use the charger that is closest to the curb.

Looking back, I think when I did B, I should've done A instead. Even though the back of my T would be hanging out, I'm not blocking the other charger from use. Agree? Better idea that I'm not seeing?

Option 1 is always the far right stall, you can park to the right of it and not block spaces. Option 2 is the far left stall, you can park diagonally and only block a non-charging space.

Options 3 would be aim for one of those stalls with two on the same line, you can charge on the wrong side, and the other is still usable by a tesla that just doesn't back all the way in (and there is plenty of room for that).

The handicap can be used by non-handicapped people, usually they should say use last or something (and if someone did show up who needed it I would move, I don't think that's a likely need honestly).

Far right plug first.

Pull into one of those plugs thats not at the end of the stall, and just dont pull all the way in.

At this particular site, far right is a charger that is placed at the end of the line marking the space, designed for a Tesla parked head-in. To use this charger, the back of my T would technically be in the fire lane. But the fire lane is wide, so it should be OK.

Left of the far left stall (first of the row), where I did option A, I'd be in the landscaping and crashing into the utility cabinets supplying all 16 chargers and the cable is too short. ? Anyways, this first charger is meant for the space to the right of it (where the Model S is). I just wouldn't be able to park all the way in due to cable length.

Options 3 would be aim for one of those stalls with two on the same line, you can charge on the wrong side, and the other is still usable by a tesla that just doesn't back all the way in (and there is plenty of room for that).

This was my logic two of the three times I've charged here (option B). But now thinking if I don't pull all the way in and used the 2nd charger on the line (closer to fire lane), maybe that's less of a mental inconvenience to an arriving Tesla owner. They can back in fully as they would any other day.

I agree. This is actually the one case where the Tesla and Rivian can use just one space.

By retired people using golf carts as getaway vehicle? That'd be an interesting chase. 55+ and residential (>$1M) communities all around. Golf course across the main street. The sidewalks were actually made so golf carts could be driven on them. At the end of the strip mall is the local DMV. Of two nearest Superchargers, this is my preferred one, sleepy and somewhat hidden. The other is in a very busy mall (closer to Rivian HQ) where charging a Rivian is trickier—diagonal spaces with chargers placed, centered, at the head of each. High likelihood of blocking.

Yea, hard to see the layout from the pics you have. In general, I'd attempt spots that take extra non-charing spots over spots that block charging. And in a site like this, making someone park ass out into the lane is fine too, it's wide and plenty of space. My last time at a supercharger (standard spots), there was one R1S at the far right (on the curb, lol), and I charged on the far left sideways.

I'd avoid the fire lane if at all possible.

So many of these spots seem to have handicap spaces in the middle specifically to allow for non-teslas to charge. If it's empty, yea, use another spot, but full, or near full, use the handicap spot. Better to take the handicap spot and allow the next two guys who show up to charge than it is to take another spot and have the station fill up right after you plug in and people are waiting because you're blocking a spot.

IMHO, infringing upon adjacent fire lanes and/or handicap spots is secondary to blocking access to an adjacent charger. I'm not leaving my vehicle unattended if I can't conventionally park at a SC. If an emergent need requires the fire lane or handicap space, I simply move my vehicle.

If you look at linked picture, you'd see the fire lane is extremely generous. This is what it looks like, before the Superchargers.

Is this station busy or is it more like the picture you posted? If it's not busy I'd just charge anywhere you can.

The times I go, past 9 PM any day or Sunday AM, it is not busy. 20~40% full. Nowhere as busy as the local EA (6 chargers only), which requires a wait until past midnight. The most busy I've seen at this Supercharger was this past Sat. at 11 PM, 70% full. And with membership, it's 27¢ /kWh.
