From what I can tell, it's been awhile since we've done a basic pre-order survey in this group. Might be interesting to see where things are at now, since a lot has change since our early surveys. There are a number of new people in the forum, too.

You're right! NO!!! You can't order the Max Pack with the R1S. Can't remove it from the Poll. SORRY!! THANKS for pointing it out, though!!

I picked R1S with the max pack, because I plan on switching to that as soon as it is available, and would likely delay shipment to do so.

So, do we know how many orders Rivian has gotten up to this point??
If not, would anyone with a recent (within the last couple of months) order be willing to tell us your order number and date you ordered?? That should give us a clue of the total number ordered since Nov. 2018.

Sadly it won’t. The order numbers haven’t been sequential for some time.

Darn!! Really? How come? Guess they figured out that we'd be trying to estimate order numbers using the pre-order numbers. ?

Yes, I was thinking the same thing, since you'd think they would have to release that number before the IPO.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing, since you'd think they would have to release that number before the IPO.

I'm not sure that they have to make it public, but that's going to be part of their financial statements regarding anticipated cash flow and key stakeholders are going to have that information available to them to analyze. The chance that it doesn't get leaked at all is very slim.

Edit: we also should get a good idea for their anticipated production and delivery schedule regarding how many units they expect to sell/delivery in CY 22 and 23.

Go to Rivian.com, sign into your account, click on your configuration icon on the left side of the page, then look at the URL at the top. In there you should see your order number. For example:
"https://rivian.com/account/vehicle/order/0001/config"
The 0001 in the example should be your order number.
