FWIW, I had some cheap .75" eyebolts sold for attaching to kayak racks, and they slid right in, worked perfectly to hold the 19mm stretcher bar for my Mooonshade awning.

Also if it helps, anything marketed as being Thule cargo bar compatible will work. Lots of aftermarket stuff made to fit, since Thule is so overpriced. Bike rails, tent stuff, kayak stuff, anything you might use camping/off road. My next thing to buy/make is something to hold my traction boards.

Nice!
How do you like your awning?
I've been shopping around (there are too many options)--I just need to find a secondhand set of Rivian Crossbars because I'm not paying full price (as they're currently priced) :D

I like the awning a lot-it is quick to set up, but very lightweight and easy to store. A bit pricey for what it is, but really high quality. It wasn't super windy for the three days I had it set up, but I saw several of the "pop-up" awning/canopies damaged and a few tents that weren't properly staked get loose and blown downwind. I never had the slightest worry. It is versatile and moves easily fro vehicle to vehicle.

The super cheap Coleman "instant up" tent is a remarkable bargain IMHO. It's ridden out several thunderstorms (I sleep in the Rivian in bad weather, the tent in benign conditions) and takes literally less than a minute to set up. I caught it on sale for less than $100.
