R2 Tour Cities / Destinations

Since I missed out on the Pasadena stop this past weekend, I think it'll be helpful for us to know where the R2 is going next.

And it looks like it'll be back in Los Angeles for the LA Auto Show. I can't wait!

...or Denver. There's effectively nothing in the middle of the country. Denver seems like the perfect spot for a massive portion of the middle states that are under-served when it comes to EVs.

I get that many will say that it's more of a function of lack of demand versus the projected supply but too many people in this area aren't even aware or (worse yet) have some crazy misconceived notion of what they are or what they're capable of. That's the whole point of these events. I digress.

Having just returned from a road trip to Toronto through Chicago and a trip down to Austin a few months prior, I'm keenly aware of the journey to reach either of those two (Chicago & Austin) destinations. I don't want to see one bad enough to make that trek. Especially now that they've removed the fold flat front seats.

While they didn’t have the R3/R3X, the R2 was already in Denver at Electrify Expo back on July 13/14. This was a large event with most EV vendors participating and many of them providing test drive options. I drove out from Kansas to see the R2 and other vehicles (and also do a few days of camping in the Rio Grande National Forest).

It turns out that I will be in Vancouver, BC, on September 6, and I'd love to see the R2 in person. Does anyone know where the R2/R3/R3X will be? I would think they would be at the showroom, but I saw a random post online saying that they would be on display at the Rivian Service Center.

I would think they'd put it in the Showroom (on Lougheed in Burnaby) vs. the SC (in Richmond), but maybe not? I'll be interested in swinging by to take a look too!

all 3 new vehicles were at the Denver dealership the weekend after the Pikes Peak hill climb, along with the hill climb R1T.

I'm not trying to be a cheapo but the New York show will be held at Electrify Expo which will charge for admissions while the other viewings don't. Plus, I am not interested in other models so why pay for all of that?

Phoenix is such a huge market! They have 1000s of them with huge following here and there's no event for Phoenix in sight... That sucks.

Have you confirmed where the R2 will be on display next week? (The webpage for the Burnaby Spaces does not have this listed in their events.)

Thanks for posting that, I had no idea you had to buy Electrify Expo tickets to see the R2, $27 total per person.
