Yep. Though you would think there would be a way to turn it on remotely, while still not allowing one to turn it off….Pet comfort is a very legally-complicated feature, there are many restrictions to it. That's why you also can't turn it off from the app, so you don't turn it off accidentally.
You have to be engaged with the vehicle to use this feature. You cannot control it remotely.
Really, if there is a pet in the vehicle, you should have turned it on before you left...Yep. Though you would think there would be a way to turn it on remotely, while still not allowing one to turn it off….
Winner!!!!How bout we just call it, "Don't melt my wife's makeup mode."
I agree. But, no one is perfect!Really, if there is a pet in the vehicle, you should have turned it on before you left...
Except that turning on climate from the app only runs for a little while (30 minutes?) but pet mode stays on indefinitely. You can turn the climate on from the app, not really much different from the pet feature.
Does it turn off automatically? The manual doesn't mention much about the app other than it exists and you can use it to control the climate. How long do you want it to stay on?Except that turning on climate from the app only runs for a little while (30 minutes?) but pet mode stays on indefinitely.
If you forgot you left your pet in your car, you should just leave them at home.Seems like a no-brainer. What if you realize you forgot to turn it on when you left your pet in the car? If you can use the app to open the Frunk, surely you can use it to turn on Pet Comfort?
Yes. It turns off. As it pertains to the discussion at hand, I would want it to stay on as long as my dog has to be in the truck.Does it turn off automatically?
