Blind Spot camera - can we select which ones are used?

I drive a Gen 1 R1T. When the turn signals are on, the camera view displayed on the driver display comes from the cameras on the side mirrors. I just returned an R1T loaner to the Service Center and when it's turn signals were on it displayed the cameras located on the front wheel trim! I think I like that view better but would have to get a better chance to compare. Does anyone know how to get this view modified? I can't find a setting to select which cameras are used.

NO it's the one facing back under the side view and it can't be changed. The Gen 2 moved the camera from the wheel well.

The loaner was a Gen 1 and displayed the wheel trim cameras...

Do you have pictures? Either it was a Gen2, cameras were actually coming from the mirror, or the loaner had some unannounced and unreleased software to change the cameras (highly unlikely)

They’re saying both are Ts, so doubt it’s a gen 2.

Impossible. Side camera locations are different between 1 and 2.
