Every car has a designated driver.. They're shipped with the car and leave after unloading at the destination...

I know people complain about the camera quality but it is fine for what I use it for. Someone got in my R1S the other day for the first time and comments how amazing the cameras were.

All relative - had a rental Nissan/Jeep and those cameras were terrible. Then a Mazda and my Volvo and was depressed once again coming back to my Rivian.

If the camera doesn't have HD so I can drive backwards slumped down in the seat its a loser for me (only playing)

im awaiting my R1s... delivery scheduling team said mine was on its way to the SC.. so I wonder at what stage I can see its cam or monitor it's location from the app... by the way, I haven't sign the purchase agreement yet..

I'm curious how this even happens with no drive in the vehicle. When you add a drive for gear guard does it just copy previous recordings from the internal storage or something?
