Trade in price is independent of discount. Discount will be applied separately

They will apply your trade in and have a separate $3500 promotional discount.

and non OE wheels and tires? I have black 20’s with nittos and the truck came with 21’s. So door sticker doesn’t match. I wonder if that’s a deal breaker.

This is hardly a "loyalty discount".. I got a better discount at an end of quarter push. I got free el cap color plus 22" dark for free. That was roughly a 5k discount. Getting 50% of what you bought your car in a year but getting $3500 off a 90k car is hardly a good deal.

Quarter literally just started and they're putting money on the table for owners. I'd say that's a pretty positive thing right now. More incentives might come down the pipeline nearer the end of the quarter.

Purely for the giggles I entered mine to see
51500 for a trade in. Only saw R1S pop up for potential replacements when “looking through the shop”. I haul too much and need a truck.

I’m still quite happy with EVA so she’s not going anywhere (that and my dogs love the big back seat)

Will continue to wait and see what the R2 bring to the table.

As for swag I got a sticker once.

You seem to have confused the Rivian ownership/maintenance experience with the Fisker Ocean requirements to keep one running for more than 6 months...

I honestly was expecting something like, trade in value will be 70%-80% of purchase price or something. That would have generated a lot of sales and people upgrading. $3500 wouldn't even cover the cost of taxes. But I guess something is better than nothing.

Nice for them to do this for sure. When i do the math though I will still come out owing more in the end overall. Not that this is weird, makes sense of course I dont expect a free car. But, I am genuinely happy with my R1S Large pack right now. The 351 range was genuinely perfect for a road trip recently where 330 miles would've actually been a hair too few for me.

I think I will happily keep my current car and update when there is a Gen3

Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on POV) the G1 QM were a killer value. Interior was very close to G2 Accend (other than some insignificant trim pieces and pattern on seats and plaid accents, both of which are different but not really better...at least to me) and for me...it would take a G2 TM maybe but ultimately I would likely want a G2 QM. And that is if I could even get myself to give up my Meridian....which at moment...I can't.

And resale value on G1 is so low....it would take like $60k and my truck. Not even close to worth it for me.
