With the cold weather, my tires lost some air so I figured I'd try out the on board compressor to fill them up. I got out the hose, connected it, got the tire adaptor out of the pack as well. Turned it on and set it to 48 and it immediately stopped. Set it to 90, it immediately stops. I can't seem to make it work to acutally fill the tires for more than say 5 seconds?

Anyone else having this issue?

Sorry but just to be clear, Did you hook it up to the tire before pressing start? It’s not like a garage compressor. There is not a tank. Apologize if you did do this. Just trying to help Troubleshoot.

You probably either aren't pushing the adapter on the tire stem far enough to depress the valve, or yours is defective and missing the center pin that does that.

Just to be clear from what you are saying and the way I understand the online owners guide. Everything should be hooked up, hose to compressor and hose to tire valve before the compressor is started? Is that right?

I have this exact issue. I bought an after market hose and it works fine but when I use the supplied hose it immediately stops at whatever PSI I set it to. The hose is pressurizing but it won’t release the pressure until I disconnect it from the vehicle. I’ve tried both ends of the hose with the same result. You should be able to also just turn on the compressor without a specified PSI and just blow air. I can’t do that either with the supplied hose but can with the after market hose. Waiting on an upcoming SC visit to replace the hose.

Yes, I did connect everything before hitting the start button. I'll try pressing harder on the valve but that doesn't seem to do anything

Sometimes it does a few small pumps before inflating continuously. Be patient and let it do it's thing. It'll stop at the set psi. Just did all the wife's wheels yesterday.

My issue with compressor is that the number it shows is different then what the car states and what my hand reader gives. I just note what I see and add that to what the compressor reads to get the psi I want. Not ideal though.

I am having the same issue, and I am doing everything correctly. Seems to be either the hose or the supplied chuck used to fill the tires. What after market hose did you buy?

I just bought a cheap one off of Amazon to get by. This one reaches all tires and is swappable with the end points of the original hose although not as convenient. I also just wanted to test my theory that the compressor was fine and it was in fact a bad hose.

Hromee 1/4 in x 25 ft.

I have the same issue but my kit didn’t have the adapter and air fitting in it. Tried to use my own air tool to no avail.

Don’t rely on the compresseur set psi. Check it with another gage. In my case it is way over the set psi when done.

"way over"? Then it sounds like you're using it wrong. It has a weird User Interface. You have to make sure to see the "Set" message before you press "Play". You have to reset the pressure between each tire - a simple - then + will do it. If you don't do this, it will keep filling the second tire more and more until you press "Stop".

The weird UI is partly because it was designed to fill basketballs, beach floats, and other things that don't have a set pressure, as well as tires which do require a set pressure. Just remember to set the pressure explicitly for each tire and you will be fine.

The actual psi number that is shown is consistent but not the most accurate. I fill my tires, then once the dash starts to show the actual pressure I sometimes have to let ~1-2lb out of a few of my tires.
