Kitchener/Waterloo Area w/Jack Pucks?

Hi, you might remember me from my first ever post “21” Pirelli burst - defect?”

Here’s my second post: anyone in the KW area of Ontario have a jack puck I can borrow for a couple of days to swap out said busted tire?

I’m hoping to have the new rubber at my mechanic by Thursday/Friday, but can’t get the car lifted to remove the old one. I haven’t found any to buy that would arrive this week.

If you don't have any luck finding pucks, you can also remove the plastic trim panel to jack on the frame directly. Instructions are in the tow operator's guide, page 18:

Have you tried asking Jack Pucks folks to see if they can help you out with a extra special quick turn? I've (along with others) have had a tremendous customer experience with them.

You won't have to worry about who you are stuck going to and looks like Jack Pucks has a Black Friday sale. I consider the Jack Pucks one of the essentials for Rivian owners.

(side jack) our CY R1S visited your neck of the woods earlier this summer and family agreed it might have been our favorite part of the Canadian road trip. Also hard to beat FREE level 3 charging at the University.

Glad you enjoyed the area! I’m looking to get my own set from them, but was hoping to switch the tire in the next couple days and figured that was too tight of a timeline, but I’ll try!

The Discount Tire near me had pucks. Check with tire shops around you.

I've got some in Port Credit / Mississauga you could borrow, but I'm not driving out your way in time for your tire change. If you happened to have a way to get them, you can borrow them.
