My other car is an Ioniq 5, I find myself trying to wave at Rivians while driving the Hyundai, people probably thing I'm nuts.

His favorite Rivian trick - sitting in the car and saying "Alexa, enable R2D2 talk" and then spending the next 5 minutes asking R2 questions.

it's so beautifully done! The plug & wire on the left - to me it looks like the wall is "plugged in" and the orange glow is due to the electricity going "into" the wall . Unplug and the orange hue changes to a darker shade, depicting night, and the birds have retired to their nests...

You will still get coal rolling driving a Rivian. That's an anti-EV thing.

I'm in Columbus, GA. I wave or flash my lights when I see a Rivian. There are not many in Columbus.

Consensus over here was we keep the Jeep wave (Two fingers/peace, thumb on the wheel) for when we’re in our Wranglers, but we’re throwing four fingers up when in the Rivians

I've noticed the same thing - it seems I'm more likely to get a wave back if the other driver is in an R1T. No matter, if I see you in a Rivian and can do it, you'll get a wave from me. I love the camaraderie!

Maybe one day when they're as common as M3/MY it will get old, but I hope not. It reminds me of what it was like in my first car, a '72 Midget. You don't see many of those, even back in the early '80s when I had mine. We'd often wave or flash our lights at each other when meeting on the road.

I've yet to be coal-rolled, and I think it's much less likely now that I'm in Seattle than it would have been in FL. Of course, we get our paybacks when we drive past them at a gas station and they're paying close to $5/gal around these parts. I'm tempted to wave at them too under those circumstances...
