Thanks. I hope I’m just missing something. I’ve tried this for years including in my former Tesla before voice texting was added to the car. Maybe I’m remembering wrong and the issue is if you ask it to read your messages? There was only one thing that didn’t work, but it was important. I’d ask to read the messages and then reply. The initial read (I think) wouldn’t work when locked. And I checked already that I have the setting on to use when unlocked. But I’ll double check that this week.

weird it works fine for me, just tried it. Perhaps the one difference is the phone's vertical on a charger but locked.

I think they're saying "add youtube music" to the next update. I agree that having youtube music as one of the music sources would be great.

Thanks, that makes more sense. I just saw "add youtube music" with the only context being the post above, which included a YouTube music video, and thought it was related to that, like they wanted more than the static image. If this had been on one of the feature request threads I probably would've made the connection. Well, on a good day.

I’d be happy with a bit of refinement given the last one was pretty good in features and enhancements. Help reduce lag switching apps in the infotainment system, help bring up the side camera quicker when indicating etc. but, I guess ultimately anything by is better than nothing… right?

It's WAY better than what I get for my ID4. One update and I had to go to the deal for it, because we all like going to the dealer.

Software version 2025.14.0 was just discovered on a 2025 Rivian Model R1S Tri Max in Illinois United States on Electrafi.

It doesn't look like that much of an upgrade from what I could find. I can't find anything for Gen1 but not much of an upgrade for Gen2 it looks like.

Really nothing major in this release. Mostly refinements. Still waiting on Gen 1 launch mode.

Yup. We're not Phoenix hot yet, but even if the truck thinks it's 99F it's been reverting to heater. That seems to be the default. Oddly, the passenger is more likely to stay fan even if mine reverts to heat. This is a newer quirk

Hopefully this means it will finally remember my preferred zoom level. I hate how it always zooms all the way in when I go to the navigation screen when I want to see a broad traffic overview.
