Re-setting SiriusXM how to?

My SiriusXM hasn't been working the last couple days.

I can't figure out how to reload it. The SiriusXM website and help is utter garbage and useless, but I really like the product.

Anybody have any suggestions?

It's called a Software Restart in the manual. Hold the outer left and right thumb buttons for a few seconds until it restarts.

I have had to do this twice over the past month. What could be the underlying issue?

Have had SXM in my R1T DM for around a year. No problems until yesterday. While I do not think it is related charged at a level 2 charger for two hours, returned around noon, disconnected the charger and SMX no longer worked. Said the service was no longer “Authenticated.” Tried 30 minute sleep and soft reset. Didn’t help. (Have not installed latest update.) FM radio still worked fine. Later in the afternoon reached out to SXM and they said everything at their end looked fine their system showing the R1T was active. Early in the evening reached out to Rivian Customer Support and after some research they indicated this was a new one for them and they were going to refer it to mobile app support for a remote review of the R1T’s app software. Went back out to the truck. This time one of my “Favorites “ was playing but none of the favorites (or other) stations appeared on the screen. Tried the FM radio. None of the preprogrammed buttons worked. The slider bar would return to the far left side if you tried to use it to find a station. This morning did another soft reset. FM has returned to normal and SXM is working. But when you first try the SXM it says no Internet briefly, then not authenticated briefly and then begins to play and all stations are listed. I think my infotainment center is haunted.

Well it’s happening again. Went to a movie (Hail Mary) in the afternoon and while driving home the SXM radio stopped working indicating it was not “authenticated.” Blank screen no stations listed. Soft reset did nothing. FM radio worked just fine. Went to bed still not working. This morning it loaded the SXM stations and appears to be working fine. Any ideas?
