No giraffes were harmed. Bought the R1T used and chrome was already sharp and separated. Sliced my hands on several occasions just opening the door.

Real leather embossed and colored. I backed it and laced it on. This sheet is Rivian-esque.

I've got the scars on the grab handle also
Thought at first it might be the wife's rings but the passenger door is okay (she has rings on both hands and sits in the passenger seat more than the drivers seat)
I don't wear rings so ........ no idea
Also have the peeling steering wheel syndrome
