Thanks Gerry! I installed: xnor-tech/sunny-mads-buttons. Experimental mode is greyed out, I am unable to select a driving personality. I will check to see if sign detection is on as I did not see the option. I appreciate the help!

OK, so using the accelerator to increase set speed doesn't work on this branch. And you should be able to use the right scroll wheel on the steering wheel to select driving personalities. Is that working?

Still not sure why you're experiencing those weird deceleration issues though.

I uninstalled, then reinstalled with a hard reset. It seems to have resolved my issues and works as you described. The scroll wheel provides the driving styles and the speed seems to have resolved. I really like the MADS feature as I approach traffic or in a neighborhood so I don’t have to fully disengage. It took a while to get used to the change from Open Pilot, but I do prefer this build after using it for about 200 miles. Thanks for the help!

I apologize if this was answered somewhere else. I installed the comma last week and have been driving around with open pilot for a few days. I recently decided to give Sunny pilot a try. I downloaded the following:

xnor-tech/sunny-mads-buttons-ui

I currently only have the harness that I received with the comma. I do not have the upgrade cable from Lukas. I have everything at the default settings after downloading Sunny pilot.

I am also having the same issue where the driving personality is greyed out. I really do like sunny pilot other than I cannot adjust the driving personality. It is keeping way too much distance between the car ahead of me. I assume I cannot adjust that with the scroll since I don’t have the harness.

Also having issues where it is constantly asking me to pay attention when I am literally staring out the front windshield. This issue is somewhat intermittent. I have a feeling I may have mounted the comma too high up and the rearview mirror is somehow causing this issue.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Take a photo of your setup! Is you comma mounted so high that you can't take it off the mount? If yiu can, I can't imagine it's mounted too high.

In terms of the driving personality, you can make that selectable by going into the developer menu and toggling openpilot Longitudinal alpha. Just make sure to go back and untoggle it after you've changed the personality.

I did set up the comma pretty high up. I am able to remove it from the mount, but barely. I also have my general seating position higher up. When I am sitting straight up the rearview mirror blocks the top quarter section of the comma screen.

Hmm, it doesn't look like it would be too high just from the photos, but you can actually see the footage being recorded by the driver monitor camera and see if the mirror is indeed interfering.

I fact you can go into the actual routes where it was given you the attention alerts and check the footage to see if anything was in the way (glare, etc).

If you are in off-road mode you can go to the software menu and click on "check for update". That should let you know.

The part I was missing was off-road mode. I saw the software tab, but it says it only allows updates when the car is off, and doesn't allow me to check for updates.
