Range Mileage and Battery Percentage Not Showing Up After Google Maps Update

Am I missing something? Was this only for Gen 2? I tried doing a hard reset on the vehicle twice. I saw on Rivian Tracker's video where it shows Range Mileage | Battery Percentage at the end of a mapped route.

This is what I still see:

No battery percentage though. Did I miss a setting?

Yes, you missed it. Settings, vehicle, units. All the way at the bottom is the setting you need.

To go into a little more detail, it is the same setting as for what appears on the driver's screen. If things look different there, then that's unusual.

And for things like this, an infotainment reset is the one to try first before a hard reset - the latter reboots the drivetrain components too, which shouldn't be done all that often, to my knowledge.

You might not have actually received 2025.22. Check your updates page to see if your still on 2025.18, if so Rivian pushed the wrong update. Calling them should fix it.

To my eye, the shapes of the navigation interface indicates he has 2025.22. I just updated this morning and things look the same (minus his issue).

Appreciate that. Why would they bury that? It just seems like an automatic to have both values show. I couldn't see someone saying, "I don't want to know both." But yet again, we're all human beings right, all different.

I am one of those that only wants to see SOC%. Could care less about an estimate on miles remaining. It was a guess with gas cars when that started becoming a feature, it's a guess here too.

Why would they bury that?

Note, the setting is not something new - it's been there ever since before I got my R1T in 2022.

The difference with the recent release is that the setting now applies to the navigation screen in addition to the driver's screen. This is a small but welcome improvement.
