GPS folding mirrors or exposing the command through the API. And enabling the audio signal to the subwoofer prewire in non premium sound systems.

P.S.-these are software changes, easy asks.
You can manually fold the mirrors in the same menu that has car wash mode, I discovered that a while back. Or is that not what you are asking for?

Is no one bothered by the lack of a sun shade? It gets hot as .... in there & I don't even live in particularly hot climate.

V2H

More range for truck & adventure purposes.
I was definitely bothered. It would have been nice to have an electric sun shade like my ID4, but it doesn't so I bought a pop in sunshade and that was that. I never take it out. If I wasn't so old/lazy, I would have put for UV/IR rejecting film on the outside of the glass, or maybe a white vinyl wrap?

I wish they put the heat pump in the rear of the R1S where the spare tire could go. Gave up some good storage space in the front for big hole in the floor in the back.
Or better yet, a full size spare for the R1S.

My wishes
FOR THE VEHICLE
1. Fan speed in second row (R1s) echo what others have said
2. Drive mode in Dual performance models - all wheel drive option (illuded to in interview by kyle conner and Wassam) very helpful when climging in the mountains - othewise the rear constantly engages and disengages with noticable "clumk" cant be good for the connection
3. Map more roads (gen 1 vehicle) for use of driver assistance on highways
4. Integrate A Better Route Planner App/Account with the Vehicle

FOR CHARGING NETWORK
1. MORE Chargers in adventrue locations which are charging deserts
Page Arizona // this is a must !!!!
Kanab Utah / Escalante Utah - all along highway 12 (Bryce to Capital Reef NP)
One of the greatest senic drives - void of chargers
Farmington NM / north west part of the state
Moab, UT
Telluride, CO
Silverton, CO

1. Dim the light bar when the charge port is open.
2. Reorganize driver display items into selectable "thirds" to allow the most driver-desired item to be moved to the middle and less desired items to the left or right.
3. Make the second row controls more in confrol of second row features when the child lock is off.
4. More second row controls in Camp Mode.
5. Update the CV shaft design to eliminate rattling.

I just don't find that much heat comes in the sunroofs (Gen 1 R1S) as tinted as they are. The front windshield lets in way more.

I hear you but how many people who pay 90k for this SUV would change the tire themselves vs calling roadside?
It’s an ”Adventure vehicle” :) to me that means off-road. Sometimes far off road. I‘ve had two flats on my old R1T that I had no choice but to change the tire myself in order to get back to civilization. In both cases, the crappy R1S fake inflatable spare would probably have worked but I wouldn’t want to rely on it. My plan is to keep a full size spare in the back of the R1S with the 3rd row seats folded down. It would have been a lot easier if there was a better way to store it. Since the R1S is a bit shorter they claim there’s no room for a full size spare. But I suspect something else less safety critical could have been sacrificed instead.

The upright spare in the back of the R1S sub-trunk is not a bad option.

I was initially pretty annoyed at not having an R1S full-size spare, but this system works well for me and I like the tradeoffs.

This would be a wish for future R1 models:

Work truck / Base model option
sunroof delete
more simple suspension (springs)
bigger inverter for a 240v bed outlet option
basic seats (cloth or vinyl)
no rear screen
Rear wheel drive only option
standard or max pack options

offer this trim for $12k to $15k less

I wish each door would Auto Unlock itself when the inside handle is opened. I and everyone else seems irritated by this. Other cars I have Auto Unlock and it is annoying to have to open it twice to kry
The car know you are serious about opening.

I only have this issue when I forgot to put the car in park and try opening the doors. When I park, the doors auto unlock and one pull on the handle opens them. Gen 1.

I'm not 100% sure of the details on this, but I like it. I do have kids, so that might influence my feelings, but the idea that if we haven't put the car in a state that would suggest we're ready to get out ("in park") then we have to pull it twice as a, "yes, we really know it's safe to get out."

:)
