You know your comma is ADDITIONAL hardware right?
I mean it's hardware capable as far as what's in the vehicle as stock. The Comma 3x just sends the software signal that says "it's OK to steer while driver assistance is enabled".

Yet again, I think this is a case where Gen1 is software limited due to MobilEye gatekeeping features. Which would make sense after seeing the posts about MobilEye potentially being disabled for Gen2 in recent updates.

I am curious how the digital wallet key will function. Happy with the app works really well so want to see the deltas.

  • Enhanced Audio Settings: Save custom equalizer profiles and use two additional renameable slots
Finally! I like to play around with the audio settings recommended by people on this forum, but was really hard to switch back and forth to compare how I personally like the sound without going through all those clicks every time.

Yes, this will be a welcome option for sure.

Is there an official place to submit a bug report?

I found a minor one in Apple music that is quite annoying, but probably doesn't impact a huge number of people. Apple music will no longer play music that's part of my library, but not purchased through Apple. For example, CD's I purchased and uploaded the music for just freeze (even if it's available in Apple Music). They had worked up until the last update.
I am also finding that since the last upgrade Asshole Apple Music plays 3-4 songs... and then just stops. The left steering wheel button will not restart it (push to pause and play); I have to reach all the way across the center screen and hit the play button, then it cycles into the next song. They still have no concept of volume balancing for this app, either. No two songs play at the same volume level; I am always having to adjust the sound up or down. God Forbid my play list goes from say, Enya into Fleetwood Mac. I gotta crank it up to, like, 20 before I can hear "Tusk" and then whatever the next song is comes out rattling the windows. And every now and then, it tosses some tune in there that neither me or my husband do not own or never downloaded. On exploring, we see it switched over to the "Apple Recommendations" tab in Asshole Apple Music.

I had Nissan Frontier with a stock, low end, Nissan media console (radio, XM, etc.) that accepted a USB media stick. I had all my music on that stick (still do), and that stock media player played the music perfectly off the stick; random and repeat without having to adjust the volume every other song. 28 hours of our music. It was bliss. It worked. And did not require a very expensive monthly subscription.

Agree completely. I've commented on enough threads about this that I don't want to dive too deep into "constant complainer" territory. My simple answer is that I DON"T WANT streaming services. I have a quality music collection I own, and I'd rather listen to that.

Gen 1 leans very heavily on maps to compensate/mask limited hardware. Gen 2’s more capable hardware relies much less on maps. I’m sure someone deeper into it can elaborate. I don’t know if Gen 2 will ever not require mapped roads. I vaguely remember that being aspirational.

Why would "Availability expanded up to 50% on urban and suburban highways" be limited to Gen 2?

Mapped highways are mapped highways, or am I missing something?
The perception/tech stack they use to enable this expansion doesn't exist in the Gen 1.
