Concord gets damn hot too so that's promising. I have zero protection as of this afternoon. I'll wait and see how XPEL handles my claim. Do you use windshield shades? Maybe my Rivian one deflected too much heat and cooked the adhesive. But... ExoShield handled it just fine. :\WOW!

Ah good point about the shades...but I don't use them, never have... at least one of our cars is always parked outside though (with another one in the garage or as it is now both outside as @SwampNut 's R1T is in the garage) and it gets to 100F regularly...interior is usually 120F when I check mid-day
I will be sending an email to all Rivian newsletter subscribers soon, but I want that R1T wrap to be done too before I do that...so one email for all of these announcements, so it doesn't get too spammy.

My wife never gets hit. I do 70 in the 60, using Rivian's closest follow distance with Highway Assist; to me, that feels and sounds normal.

We got our first good rain of fall, and I'm surprised how hydrophobic the film is! It's not as hydrophobic as an Aquapel treatment, but far better than an unrelated windshield. Aquapel, I only use wipers under 35mph. With this film, dropped to around 40mph before I decided to use them. Prettyyyyy good.
I still wonder how the film would do with an Aquapel treatment. Think the chemicals would damage it?
What product or treatment do they recommend?
Ceramic coating For PPF. I tried several, no issues, just no obvious benefit for me at least...then again, thinking of it - I did apply them days after applying the film, so perhaps if I tried now I might see some difference.
