Any chance forum mods can increase the number of posts per page?

Currently, it's set at 15 which requires a lot of next page clicking. Can this be bumped to something like 40 or 50?

I checked to see if it's user-configurable, but I didn't see a setting. I then searched for a setting and got a result from the forum dev saying that they had no plans of giving individual users this setting.

The page refreshes bring ad refreshes which I imagine help to support the site.
And the accidental clicks when they eventually load right in the spot where you were about the click on.

As nice as it would be to have fewer refreshes, I'm pretty sure you're right. At least it's a free service to us, and it helps @Administrator keep the lights on and everything hitting on all eight cylinders.

Okay, maybe that last line's not the best metaphor for an E.V. site.... How about "everything working like a well-oiled machine"? Hmm.... Better yet, how about "Humming like Hoover Dam"?

Also requiring more page loads can help detect bots (show captcha if too many requests in a period of time) and deter content scraping. Although, the use of "infinite scrolling" with async requests could provide a compromise between user experience, ad revenue, and bot detection.

I enjoy when I check new posts fast it always asks me if I'm a robot.

Nope, just a post reading machine!
