Does anyone know if reservation page exist and just has button that has not been activated. Or the whole URL is a secret? I certainly want to contribute to the crash of 22.

I like it.
Definitely doesn’t look like a normal boxy pickup truck.
Also, I can’t lie, I liked the Avalanche a little.
It looks a little like the Ridgeline, maybe after a few years on steroids, some growth hormones, and a membership at 24-Hour Fitness. That's not meant as an insult. I kind of like that one look we get here.

Yea well when you're dealing with covid patients around midnight you don't spell check ?
Chris,

Are you saying your mood created just the right wrong word? If so, that's hilarious! I was giving you credit for some great wordplay! In fact, I still am. That was outstanding!

On a serious note, thanks for being there for those in need. I think we'd all like to believe we're close to being out of the woods, but clearly, we're not. You are to be commended for all you for them, their loved ones, and all of us.

Be safe.

Yeah it looks like a cheaper crappier version with more plastic. Sort of like the Pontiacs of the early 90s.

Not a fan of the looks. Appears very bloated / chonky in appearance. Based on the flying buttress in the back, they should gave called it the Evalanche!

They should have just called this Avalanche. "F-150" Lightning makes sense since they just shoved a bunch of batteries in a BOF truck and swapped the ICE for motors. But this is a new platform that will be shared within GM. They could've done multiple launches, one now with its inevitable $100k or so price tag, and one a few years from now when they have battery supply and choose to produce a volume $40k-50K model.

I think it's the same platform so that's probably exactly what it is. I don't mind it's looks, I like it more than the Lightning, which just seems bland to me. But if it's the same platform as the Hummer, I expect it to be cheaper than the Hummer, but probably not by much.

Page doesn't exist yet but this is likely going to be the link. When the EUV reservations hit I got mine ~20 minutes before they were supposed to be open. FYI though, my reservation appeared to get lost in the system having done that. Had a visit from an executive at GM to my linkedin page shortly after reservations opened...

Weekend warrior truck if I ever saw one.

That wing thing (like the Avalanche) will make mounting toolboxes and racks a nightmare, so it's not a "working truck" in the sense that the F150 Lightening is.

It looks a bit like they took the Hummer and made it "less of a flying brick" and actually tried to inject some aero into the design. Who knows, it might have better eMPG than a 20 year old Hybrid.

I'll be curious about specs, cargo room, pricing.

That isn’t surprising at all. There were many rumors that the EV Silverado and Sierra would use the Hummer EV’s platform. IMO this pushes it closer to a lifestyle truck rather than a true working truck like the F150 Lightning. My only concern is that the Hummer EV is super expensive and the Silverado will follow suit. I certainly don’t see them offering it at $40K like the Lightning. Also, I have to wonder if GM is going to offer the most expensive trim first. Just like the did with the Hummer and how they apparently plan to do with the Sierra EV (Denali will be offered first)

Thanks a bunch. I don’t mind the attention from GM Execs. Did you have to pick a dealer like Ford when you made your reservation?
