I have a Lyriq order in place. Should get it springtime. I don’t expect that it will be “enough” to cancel my R1S first half 2023 reservation. But it might replace my 2018 Model S which will be out of bumper to bumper warranty in April.Anyone considering Cadillac Lyriq, Nissan Ariya, toyota bz4x, Lexus RZ450e, Kia EV6, GV60, BMW IX, porsche macan ev, audi q6 e tron, ……..?
This is pretty much the same for us although in our case 3 row is a requirement and not an option. My wife really wants another 3-row SUV. The Lucid Gravity is the only EV on the radar that could pull us away from the R1S.
We like the R1S but it's way more off-road capable than we need.

The Lucid Gravity is the only EV on the radar that could pull us away from the R1S. We had a Model X originally, but weren't very happy with it. I would consider the new Model X refresh but it starts at $105k and has the stupid yoke steering wheel. So it's not even a consideration. The R1S is such a better vehicle for the price.
We like the R1S but it's way more off-road capable than we need. We would prefer a luxury SUV with longer range over the off-road performance of the R1S. So if Lucid can delivery an ultra-efficient luxury 3-row SUV that looks decent, it will be on our short list. A lot will depend on how Rivian delivers over 2022. So far the reviews of the R1T have been spectacular, but the delays are less than encouraging. The Lucid Air has been getting spectacular reviews as well, so I'm assuming their SUV could be very appealing.
I am loosing track of all my reservations. Before I know it, it will be a car worth of money on $100 reservations but It does sound tempting.VW will launch the ID.Buzz March 9th as a 2024 model year with deliveries starting in 2023. Single and dual motor varients available with 300 mile expected range.
I plan on putting in a day 1 order for whatever launch/special edition they offer.
At the moment I'm expecting to get both the R1S and Buzz in 1H 2023, which is also around the time we will likely need some extra seating capacity in the family. I'm willing to shell out a few extra $$ on the Buzz to get to the front of the line.I am loosing track of all my reservations.
