"Borealis" purple limited-edition paint color revealed!

I want this color, but my R1S is barely a year old. The wife would be pissed. Although it would look really good in my garage next to this.

Anyone who mixes paint can get the code and make it. Paint is pretty scientific and repeatable.

I know a few Rivian 'collision centers' that would benefit from this advice One of the reasons they pulled compass yellow was how hard it was to color match - every batch was a tiny bit different.




Also - I hate to be the bearer of bad news - Purple is only acceptable on 911's - I don't make the rules (honest!) but thats just the way it is.

Well fortunately for you the "timeless" color of white, black, and 50 shades of gray are available on every car.

I still like my Rivian Blue the best, but Borealis would be my second choice. I really hope we continue to get some real color choices for the R2.

Is Miami actually a unique color? I thought it was just regular white with a graphics package

No, it isn't, neither color is available for Dual Standard.

In reality, Red Canyon is available in MORE configurations than Borealis...

I like it. Very grateful to Rivian for NOT putting it on the Dual. For $10k less my wife might have been tempted to get it!
