I think a lot of people wanting color now just wrap it... sky's the limit on color then.

I completely agree. Wraps are also a great way to experiment with wild colors like flip/transition colors, but not tank your resale because you can always remove them before the sale. Plus, you get a little added paint protection. I'd wrap myself, but I arguably already have the best Rivian color out there, Launch Green

I see three purple R1S and one purple R1T in inventory already. Delivery is listed as 2-3 weeks to LA.

It’s not for me, but I have a soft spot for a good purple+bronze wheel setup. I think it’s cool.

I found it interesting that my wife likes the purple. No chance for me. Come on Rivian - we need an orange special edition - so many manufacturers have done that. I would upgrade in a NY minute for orange.

Let us women have a color. It's rare to get more feminine favored colors on a car without a wrap. Purple is my favorite color. Never thought Rivian would go for it. I'm just sad I'm getting an R2 and could never afford a 100,000 dollar SUV (and it wouldn't fit well in my tiny one car garage). Cars are for women too, but we rarely get the attention without going third party (as shown when I'm the Rivian fangirl and every dealership assumes it's my dad or brother interested, brother could care less, and Dad is a Lucid fanboy.) LET ME HAVE MY PURPLE. You've had your green, yellow, blue, red and dune. It's our time!

Have to say - I don't view colors necessarily as feminine favored... My wife though, loves her gray cars which is why I was surprised E.g - she would never get Compass Yellow (like my R1T), wrap a vehicle orange as I did with my Lightning. I love vibrant colors - orange being my favorite.

But.... purple is a hard no for me! Bring on orange, Rivian!

Not my thing, but hey, to each his own. I saw a Range Rover in a very subtle matte purple in South Florida this week and it actually looked surprisingly good.

Also, great on the bikes. All colors are cool in my opinion. Just wish most people didn't gatekeep. I get a lot of crap being a girl into anime, videogames, and more traditional "boy" activities so I admit to being a little defensive. Even had men tell me I was single because I'm too masculine due to my height and hobbies. So yeah, the gender gatekeeping is stupid. Just stating what's "Traditional" when it comes to colors.
