I installed a hitch so I can haul a trailer full of Myrtle logs next weekend. It will be my first time towing with Arty.

Here's the wood I picked up for my son. It was way more than I expected.

That is Oregon Myrtle. It's a hard wood endemic to Oregon. He's planning to make a dining room table and chairs.

Pulling a 4500 trailer was a breeze with Arty. Of course there was a range hit, but I didn't have to pull very far so not an issue.

Here's the wood I picked up for my son. It was way more than I expected.

I saw this pick without scrolling further down and was like I mean that isnt THAT much wood, then scrolled to the second picture and saw the entire uncut tree and it made more sense.

It was 5 logs, the smallest was just over 12" in diameter, and 2 big stumps that were milled into slabs.

If it was only the 1 slapped log, I would have just put it into the bed.

Not "today", but got the following done recently:

• Installed Goat Fabrication sliders (sans step plate)
• Switched to a set of gunmetal Black Rhino Voltaic wheels; thanks to Brenton @electruck4x4 for the deal
• Had another stellar 3-day service appt. @ Lake Forest, CA SC where they fixed the all-too-common dash rattle, fixed/replaced misbehaving tailgate latches, replaced a squeaky driver door latch (interior) and re-tightened all hub bolts as part of a TSB*

*Previously done in January. SC informed me specs have been revised since and needs to be performed again. If you've had this done in the past, check in with your SC.

Fast EV08. Got from Wheelwiz.
The optional plastic covers (which i assume give it some aerodynamic benefits) are cheap and break easy when installing if you don't put the little tabs in the right spot (I got them to send me replacements), but overall I'm happy so far (2 months in and about 8k km)

At first I thought you were talking about your R1T. Mine does those things and goes 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. Pretty fast for a recliner.

Today, right in the middle of the worst winter storm Indianapolis has seen in years (15" of snow so far in less than 24 hours), I had to drive 20 miles across the city. Basically nothing is plowed yet. With the truck in Snow Mode and the Goodyear Territory tires, it was effortless. Lots of other cars were getting stuck.

I sadly have no photos, so here's my recreation of this morning's drive:
