I updated my iOS app yesterday and everything is still working for me. My truck is about 40 yards away in a condo garage🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m also having issues accessing the vehicle in general from the updated app. Can’t lock/unlock, pre-heat, etc.

I've pretty much always had issues with the Rivian app on my phone, and the ones you mention have been occurring with increasing frequency since the last update. I've always chalked it up to my phone type (Android) and age (3 y/o Galaxy S23), but that may be my way of rationalizing being lazy in not trying to find the specific problem.

I've always chalked it up to my phone type (Android) and age (3 y/o Galaxy S23), but that may be my way of rationalizing being lazy in not trying to find the specific problem.
For the most part, it’s worked well for me. Now that it’s cold in the morning (mid 20s), I’ve been warming the cabin ~5 minutes before I head out. No problems turning on heat, seat/steering wheel heaters, etc.

I’m guessing it’s due to the wallet/NFC updates for Gen 2 vehicles (which mine is not), but who knows? I’ll restart the vehicle in a bit…see if that solves anything.

Note, I’m not complaining, just trying to see if anyone else is having issues.

My Home Screen widget stopped working on the new app version (iOS). Restarted app and phone to no avail.

Quick follow up: did a restart of the vehicle (not a software reset, the “left-button-hazards” restart). All is well now.

We missed Halloween because of a service appointment and now no Christmas jingles? My husband is pissed.
It's highly unlikely there will ever be any Christmas specific jingles because not everyone is Christian and Rivian likely wants to avoid any perceived bias.

Jingle Bells might be a possibility as it is a seasonal song, not a Christmas song, even though we typically associate it with Christmas songs.

I wish they released phone message alerts along with voice assisted response . I really miss that feature from my Tesla .

This has been the case with my truck since delivery in March :( That's with the latest S25 Ultra too. Got myself the fob and life has been good. Maybe this new phone key in the update will help?

I thought the autonomy view was useless until I rented a Grand Wagoneer for a 2k mile road trip and realized how much I missed it.
Same sentiment for me. I sometimes want the map to fill the entire middle screen but the little autonomy view has really grown on me and its right there in the binnacle.
