Another one for you then @Kryptonlogic, have you had to reset the Forward Collision Warning (FCW) settings each time you drive? I noticed in your video it was set to Normal when you went to Settings. A few of us also saw that reset from Early to Normal after long sleeps, is that by design as well?

Used to be you could turn forward collision off permanently. Now the setting is worthless and my car constantly screams at me in LA traffic when some one turns. Terrible!

Wild, it seems it was still working for others as recent as June 2025 (myself included who went from Gen 1 to Gen 2) and then started to disappear. I have a service ticket for it, but if that's true that it's really removed, then they need to update their owners manuals b/c it's still listed as a feature (Page 262 - https://assets.ctfassets.net/2md5qh...87f99d507cfb/r1s-my25-26-og-en-us-2025380.pdf)

The controls are now reversed as well I think. Now the wheel does speed instead of distance.

Gen1 remained as it was before with speed on the buttons and distance on the scroll wheel.

So one thing I like that I didn't realize would happen. With the map view active on the driver display, you still get lane edge warnings inside the blue circle with the arrow and you still get the rear-radar warnings for vehicles in your blind spot around the blue circle.

I do kind of wish they'd opted for a model of the truck with the lights so I could still see when the brake lights activate. I was in bumper to bumper stop and go on the way home due to a light that was out. Perfect conditions for using ACC to make things less annoying, but I noticed the truck behind me kept stopping really close to me. Flipped back to the autonomy view and realized my truck was stopping each time without activating the brake lights and I frequently manage that myself with regen and like being able to see if I need to add just a bit more to get the brake lights to come on.

Do a quick soft reset and see if it connects afterwards. 9/10 it works for me.

I love the map update on the driver's screen but one thing really bugs me. I wish they could make the size of the left window dynamic so there's no wasted space. Either that or turn it off completely so I can see more of the map. When the music "mini-window" is displayed there's quite a bit of empty space covering up some useful map below. I know, it's a minor complaint, but it bugs me.

I wonder if they fixed the out of phase issue?

When I get the update, I will check the phase and see if they reversed the front speakers to be in phase with the rear. If they did, I am glad I didn't take the doors apart and mechanically fix it. Then I would just have to put it back. LOL.
