So i think they got the dimensions flip flopped on the width of the R2. The dimensions with the mirror folded is wider than with them out. Someone's going to lose their proofreading job!

Intrigued by the wireless charger - looks like they added a bump at the bottom...really hoping they add magsafe. it's just so much nicer to have your phone stay in one spot and charge as opposed to it sliding around with every bump/turn.

Standard AWD $49k - standard interior, small battery, medium performance
- battery upgrade option for $4000
Premium AWD $57k - premium interior, large battery, medium performance
- Performance package $2000
Launch $60k - $62k - Premium AWD with performance package included, also likely upgrade wheels and possibly paint and interior. Higher price range is given if more options are bundled.
R2X or R2 Tri $75k - Tri-motor Premium interior, large battery, max performance, includes upgraded wheels (no pricing will be disclosed on March 12)

I like this game, but I'm going to disagree with you a bit here. At one point, RJ said that the first versions available at launch aren't going to be the top-tier fully loaded ones. He said something along the lines of it would be a well equipped popular spec but not loaded.

For that reason, plus the fact that I think if the first version came out and was $60k+ they'd garner a lot of ill-will, I think the first versions to be delivered are going to be a mid-tier model in the $52k-$55k range, right around the average new car price.

Overall this looks like it will be a great vehicle.

The one item that I didnt like to hear was moving speaker out of the doors. The article I read mentioned how they were able to improve sound. This is hogwash like Elevation is better than Meridian "based on customer feedback".

Having a Bronco that due to doors coming off doesnt have door speakers, no matter how much money I put into stereo you cant make it sound as good. Now if they make the doors able to easily remove I will for sure buy one lol.

Note that the image of the car shows the driver side rear window rolled down. I think the phrase “rear windows” in a 4-door car refers to the side windows for the second row of seats.

Based on what I have seen in all the reviews, they are talking about the switch on the headliner that roles down five windows. The two front, the two rear, and the back tailgate window.

I'd say it's a pretty safe bet to rely on the after market as Rivian will not offer one. The Porsche Macan EV doesn't even have a powered closed Frunk.

At least it pops and opens completely from the button press, unlike some of the competitor vehicles that only electronically unlatch.

The HEB curbside people always try to slam my frunk closed anyways so I don't see the manual close being all that inconvenient.
