The 275/50R22 Scorpion Zero tire is rated 115H, i.e. up to 2,679 pounds and up to 130 mph.Is that a good or bad tire for the 22” with the weight of the Rivian?
Weight seems fine, that is over 10000 lbs on a vehicle with a GVWR of 8500. As long as they do not plan on sustained driving over 99 mph I would not worry about it.The 275/50R22 Scorpion Zero tire is rated 115H, i.e. up to 2,679 pounds and up to 130 mph.
This Toyo tire is rated 109Q, i.e. up to 2,271 pounds and up to 99 mph.
It doesn't seem safe to me.
Thank you! I figured there was something wrong about that config. The 275/50R22 Scorpion Zero tire is rated 115H, i.e. up to 2,679 pounds and up to 130 mph.

I might be a bit of a worry wart, but I'd get something closer to the 115 Load Index rating, given that this 109 rating is about "only" 500 pounds more than the R1T's GVWR at 9,084. Maybe they simply over-engineered the Pirelli's, but I know I'll stick close to what they came up with. Just an abundance of caution, but then I lock my car doors even when parked in the garage. The 275/50R22 Scorpion Zero tire is rated 115H, i.e. up to 2,679 pounds and up to 130 mph.

Did you see any of the F1 races this past year? You have a right to be cautious of Pirelli lolI might be a bit of a worry wart, but I'd get something closer to the 115 Load Index rating, given that this 109 rating is about "only" 500 pounds more than the R1T's GVWR at 9,084. Rivian Office in Irvine:
Could be as simple as these are the most popular colors. If you look at the Rivian order surveys as well as your local parking lots, red and yellow are not the most popular offerings.Wow even the janitors got a Rivian before me apparently... Still odd we don't see red yellow seems like the same three or four colors we keep seeing.
Brave of you to go out in that cold yesterday! Did you see mine in one of the service spots?Anecdotal progress @ Denver Service Center. Yup, I'm stalking while they're spawning.
February 3, 2022 with several more on the inside service bays.

at what point do these become impolite to the impatient pre res community? Honest question.Rivian Office in Irvine:
You mean that they can get seemingly everyone a truck, but they can't seem to maintain trucks at service centers for test drives?at what point do these become impolite to the impatient pre res community? Honest question.
I honestly think we're past that point already. Just learned of a friend of a friend who joined the company 3 months ago who already got his truck. He ordered when he started with Rivian, not before.at what point do these become impolite to the impatient pre res community? Honest question.
