Btw- New charger is not compatible for Gen1 vehicles.

Riviantrackr reports it’s only 5W.Their Gen 2 version you could pay to upgrade from the OG.
Is their an easy way to see how fast your phone is charging? I have an iPhone.
Yup. That's why I want to see where the inefficiencies are as it its capable of 15 watts.Riviantrackr reports it’s only 5W.
This makes me sad - I wonder why it isn't compatible.Btw- New charger is not compatible for Gen1 vehicles.
Maybe keycard reader is built in? Single PCB and harness (of different kind)? We know they continue to streamline to save cost. This new pas probably saved them $ on copper. Two coils instead of many. This makes me sad - I wonder why it isn't compatible.
Wrong connector. The new charger utilizes the same found in Gen2 vehicles, and it looks like it uses more of the wires. Gen1 only offers 4.This makes me sad - I wonder why it isn't compatible.
The old gen2 had them both together too.Maybe keycard reader is built in? Single PCB and harness? We know they continue to streamline to save cost. This new pas probably saved them $ on copper. Two coils instead of many.
Ok so it bounces between 12watts and down to 7watts. But keeps your phone relatively cool.max rate is going to be 15 watts. I am curious how much you lose due to the mat and inefficiencies.
I've used Ampere test in the past. It works ok.
whats your phone battery state?Ok so it bounces between 12watts and down to 7watts. But keeps your pone relatively cool.
48% charge to 52%whats your phone battery state?
Oh nice! So that's an accurate measurement. So that would be 12 watt max. (assuming no case). So about ~7 watts with case.48% charge to 52%
Weird - I thought they had offered the Gen2 wireless charger in the Gear Shop for Gen1 vehicles.... I didn't look that closely at the page though.Wrong connector. The new charger utilizes the same found in Gen2 vehicles, and it looks like it uses more of the wires. Gen1 only offers 4.
They offered a different option as the OG Gen2 could be run off the same power requirements and wire options of the Gen1. I have been told and based on what I am seeing, that this would not be offered for Gen1.Weird - I thought they had offered the Gen2 wireless charger in the Gear Shop for Gen1 vehicles.... I might end up doing that - I've loved your stuff, but I'm a weirdo that goes OEM as much as possible. Have to convince my wife it's worth the $$$ (and would need to add a magnet ring to my case)...They offered a different option as the OG Gen2 could be run off the same power requirements and wire options of the Gen1. Also, side note, get one of the third party options as they will charge faster and still look OEM.
I'm guessing this new OEM one is going to be around $300 (similar to the previous option). I'm currently working on trying to get this new version to me. I have hopes there's a chance to modify it further.I might end up doing that - I've loved your stuff, but I'm a weirdo that goes OEM as much as possible.
