I would be interested in being able to buy just a pair since the rear suspension of my 2025 R1S often sits about 1/2" low compared to the front. An interesting thing I've noticed is at low ride height the front and rear are level, but in standard and then high the front to rear difference in height increases. I would prefer the rear to sit a bit higher than the front because currently the front is great through dips and bumps but the rear often is harsh like it's bottoming out, but improves when in the high setting.

Some of my problem might also be the rear shocks. Although they were replaced last fall under warranty one is leaking again which is frustrating because I'm 250 miles from the Denver service center.

One “free” alternative is to modify the linkage by removing the back locatating Nub with a hack saw. Then you are able to rotate the linkage about the securing torx screw. This in turn lowers or raises the vehicle.
You could rotate it back into place when going to a service center and maybe not be caught by Rivian.

Every time this thread pops up, I momentarily get excited that @MountainPassPerformance is launching a new product.

Is the Rivian OEM suspension such a perfect setup/bulletproof components that there's no room for improvement? Please, @MountainPassPerformance, you're our only hope.

Not exactly perfect or bulletproof, but air suspension isn't our forte 😅
Looking forward to developing more on the R2 very soon!

There is a far better solution, but you lose the air suspension. A full coil over conversion is in the works by a few suspension companies in CA at the moment. As the R1's age, newer more flexible owners will prefer a high quality coil over.

I managed to buy a used mpp kit and installed it on my 2nd gen R1S. I set it to raise the front by about 1/2" and the rear about 3/4", since the rear of my R1S consistently sat a bit lower and was harsh over abrupt dips or bumps in the road. My rear shocks were replaced last year because they were leaking, and recently all my shocks and the hydraulic pump were replaced because one rear shock was leaking again and a front shock was making a strange sound. I wanted to raise the rear especially to hopefully reduce pressure spikes that possibly contributed to shock failure since I'm at 48k on my dual motor so any future issues probably won't be covered by warranty. So far the difference in ride feel has exceeded my expectations! I didn't think such a small change would have such a big effect but the impact I feel when going over the same bad spots in the road has been improved a lot, so I'm very pleased with having installed the ride height adjusters. I used a torx bit taped into a box end wrench to loosen the hard to reach front bolts, a screwdriver and cats paw crowbar to pop the link off the ball after running a hair dryer on it for a bit, and a large channel lock to seat the link on the ball again.

That's really interesting to me. Are you saying it's reducing the impact harshness? What height are you driving in?

I don't know what heights he uses, but FWIW, I will second that small adjustments to level height can notably reduce harshness. I raised the front of my '23 R1S by about a half inch and it significantly reduced the harsh bounce of the bump stops. I can now aggressively drive gravel roads in "Low" that previously initiated such bouncing that it completely upset the vehicle.
"Lowest" was previously all but unusable and is now an option on smoother roads.

I'm usually in standard height including on the highway. I basically never use low (and it still annoys me that the auto height adjustment turns itself back on, which I notice due to the harsher suspension). In the past I would often go to high in town just to make the ride better over bumps because the rear used to 'kick' so bad over bumps or through abrupt dips. I had a gen 1 loaner R1S when my shocks were being replaced and I think it sat a little higher in standard height, so it seemed like it rode better than my gen 2.
