I am looking at these two tires options to replace my original Scorpions on the 22”. I already have a separate set of winter tires so looking for more of a dry weather tire that can still handle some rain.

Key aspects I am looking for in priority order:
- road noise
- vehicle range efficiency
- tread wear
- driving performance

Anybody have any thoughts on which is better for my needs?

Less efficient according to data on riviantrackr’s tire guide. And no mileage warranty.

I got the Alenza's in late January, so I have about 2 months worth of beta in all sorts of conditions (lots of snow, slush, muck and road).
They've performed great with very quiet ride, identical to the Pirellis (OEM scorpions).
As far as I know they have a 60k mile warranty (100k km) which is why I went this way instead of Michellins, which were significantly more expensive.
Hope this helps!

The 0 mile warranty at riviantrackr.com is incorrect then. @Kryptonlogic

I can speak to the Michelin, which I replaced the Pirelli's with on my R1.

Overall, much better tire. Quieter, slightly more comfortably and no noticeable wear in over 10k miles. Driving performance about the same (maybe slightly worse, not as sticky) but the trade off for everything else was worth it.

I'll second that-I have the Bridgestones as well...quieter than stock, great in heavy rain, really good mileage warranty from Firestone.

I can't give my endorsement to the Michelins. I have the 22" Defender LTX M/S2. Every time I drive on I-5, I have feelings of regret. They have a noticeable drone. They also don't perform as well at the OEM Pirelli tires. The only positives for me are they have a little better ride and maybe a little better efficiency. I like the Pirelli's and would have bought them again, but they were just too much $.

Same experience for me with the Michelins, I put them on and regret not spending the money on the Pirelli’s.

Hi Reid, I just had my 30,000 service at the local Rivian Service Center and they flagged my tires for low tread. So I'm beginning my research to find an option other than the Pirelli's and see that you seem to like the Bridgestones. I used to have Bridgestones on my Audi and also used Firestone. Would you mind sharing what you paid for your set and did Firestone do your install? I know we must be careful of where we have our tires rotated, etc. to avoid damage to the underbody. I purchased a set of Jack pucks for this purpose and also have a local mom/pop garage where they have a drive on lift to rotate my tires. But I do like Firestone's tire protection program. Weighing my options and would appreciate hearing more about your Bridgestones as I compare to the Michelin Defenders that other Rivian owners seem to like. I'm in Southwest Florida, so no need for snow tires for me. Thank you!

cant speak to the Michelins obviously, but the Alenzas have been great-quiet, responsive, and great with the buckets of rain we've had lately...def recommend them....
