Acquired R1S 2022 quad Launch edition -- what's next

Hey everyone, I recently bought a R1S Rivian, first EV..ever. It has 20,234 miles on it and lightly used. Bought from friend at Carvana price of $54,000. I hope this is a good deal The first plan is to protect it with PPF and ceramic coat. I like the green but want to do a satin matte black.

Anyone have ideas?

Great price; enjoy the ride. I don't know what you plan to do with it, but there are lots of third-party accessories in addition to those on the Rivian site. If you plan to go off-road or camp, there are lots to make it more glampy or technically capable. Explore these sites...

I love launch green, I'd keep it!

I have a VIN of 3900 and it's an early 2023 in Launch Edition Green and it looks similar to yours, but with the AT package and both sets of AT wheels. I love love love the LE green, but it's not for everyone.

My advice if you're looking to do a black matte wrap? Full chrome delete (the chrome that runs long the roofline and above the windscreen, the silver bits under the front and rear undercarriage, the emblems, etc). You can get what you need from Twraps and Abstract Ocean (you have to email them to order the emblems, but they have an all black version with Rivian yellow that look fantastic. If you're aiming for complete OEM look for the emblems, I recommend all black lettering on the tailgate and black with accent Rivian yellow for the rest. It's two complete sets of badges, but it's worth it for the right blackout look).

Good luck and have fun. It's the most exciting vehicle I have ever owned by a mile and I love mine.

And there are TONS of resources if you search this forum or Reddit/Facebook, etc. AI can be really helpful for summarizing user suggestions, feedback, and other details if you ask it the right prompts. There is a lot to learn about driving an EV and owning a Rivian, but I think it's part of the fun.

Finally, if you haven't already, I suggest paying for a comprehensive inspection at a Rivian Service Center before the 5-year comprehensive warranty expires (you seem fine on miles, but the clock is ticking on that 5 years). Get things addressed before the warranty runs out!

Sorry folks, Launch Green is the best color Rivian has ever released, full stop.
@CosmicRivian, nice touch with the added blackout package and handmade Yeti. I plan to add blackout logos as well; that's a perfect upgrade paired with the black AT wheelset.

Thanks everyone for the ideas. It is a 2022 and the comprehensive inspection is a terrific idea. Thanks for the websites! Although I like launch green, I went with a Satin Matte Back and smoke tint on the headlights; bought Twrap accessories.
