Guaranteed. That is as far as the breakdown in parts inventory goes (and what they get from suppliers). It's not a Rivian thing, it's a worldwide thing for decades. Unless DIY, and using parts salvaged from donor assemblies, the days of replacing individual parts are long gone.
No doubt. My question was rhetorical. I've been working on cars for ages, one of my first vehicles was a used '57 Chevy, so I've seen the evolution, and it isn't just cars; I used to carry a stock of transistors, resistors, capacitors, and soldering tools I fixed circuits instead of throwing things in the trash.

Service has reached out and will sell me the part new, but of course they will not tell me how to get the old one out.

OK I was bored and curious, took less time to figure it out than writing this post. The two trim panels above and below the cup holder just pop out and three screws 2 on top 1 bottom and slide the whole assembly out.

I was going to walk across the street to my neighbors and find out how to take it out, but it looks like you figured it out. He has a Rivian test vehicle we could practice on ;) Now we need a file. I have 4 printers, but no 3d scanner and drawing it may take a little longer than I want to spend on it. If you come up with a file... I can print it for anyone that wants one.

You're doing the Lord's work, Sir. Thank you!

I'd be happy to draw one, print it, and test it, but I need a unit to model the file after (my wife wouldn't be pleased if I took the one in her Rivian) and the tray to test the printed part. I'm happy to share the file if I can get an assembly to test with.
