Comma 4 - can't get longitudinal enabled with lukas longitudinal harness

There were multiple things wrong:

1. I plugged in the Lukas long harness to my computer via USB-C and confirmed the LEDs light up. The long harness receives power from the USB-C port. This confirmed there was nothing wrong with the harness.

2. When connecting the Lukas long harness directly to the Comma 4's aux port, I specifically needed to use the long USB-C cable provided by Lukas to connect the two together. I was testing with the long USB-C cable provided by Comma (thicker), which doesn't work for some reason.

3. The Janquick Quick Release Mount box is defective. While it passes through the USB-C from the Comma Harness, it doesn't pass through the USB-C from the Lukas long harness. Even when using Lukas's long USB-C cable between the long harness and the Janquick box (which I confirmed worked in #2 above).

Something about the Janquick box blocks USB-C power from going from the Comma harness into the long harness when routing through the Janquick box. I removed the Janquick box and permanently routed 2 separate long USB-C cables going up to the Comma 4. All is well now.

Oh bummer on not being able to use the new longitudinal harness with the Janka mount.

Both of your issues imply something breaking comm/power in the usb C link requiring a special cable for connection.

I am about to buy all the parts for a '23 Gen 1 R1S Quad

1. Comma 4 $999
2. Xnor Longitudinal Harness incl fuse tap (presently sold out) $150 + shipping
3. Janka Mount $99

Am I missing any kit/parts?

I might wait another month to see what comes of this issue.

Xnor harness is likely not coming back in stock and should be replaced with the new angle based harness.
