from what I am reading on Reddit it does not include destination. So tack on an additional $1.9K

No US manufacturer includes Destination/Documentation fees in the MSRP.

Interesting that it's $950 - $50 cheaper than Tesla on a Model Y (it used to be $1.2k).

I remember when the Maverick first came out Ford ended up giving a free AWD upgrade to people who ordered the 4K Tow Package with FWD because they ultimately couldn't get the tow capacity up to 4k lbs with FWD; however, a FWD tow package is still offered (just at 2k lbs instead).

Yeah, the paint pricing is a bit ridiculous. I guess that's how they're trying to increase their profit margin. lol

Interesting... I vaguely remember seeing a tow rating for a Standard trim when the initial details were revealed back in March, but they were lower than 4.4k lbs. Maybe they don't want the confusion of two different tow ratings on R2 (vs R1, where the S & T have different ratings, and Standard pack Ts have yet another rating....)

They've built-in so many other options, like heated/ventilated seats and steering wheel, that others upcharge for (like the ix3 if you want a heated steering wheel) - guess their analytics think that grabbing margin in paint works best for them.

$1k for the AT upgrade doesn't seem like a bad option for those of us who don't want 21". Then I don't have to flip the 21". Then dump the ATs for All Seasons at the first opportunity.
