Driving it on the beach in a few weeks. It needs to see something other than just grass and pavement at some point.

I have the Motion 3 XL Low, so it's fairly similar and have done road trips with the box in both the front and rear postions. While I can't really compare efficiency since I also swapped wheels (22" vs 20") for the trip, I can say that the rear position is much quieter. Loading it makes it harder but I bought a tire step which solves that problem and it's easy enough to fold up and store.

I have the XL version, always mount it on the back. I use this step to load and unload it. Works great.
