My life experience has also taught me that when in doubt, a reach around followed by a good yank is often the most effective course of action.I believe the latch re-seats once you are done yanking, you gotta do a reach-around and pull the charger cord out while you're yanking the release.....

I lost it at "The port has loosened up with more use"I didn't want to be the first to say it, but THIS! Manual releases, yanking, tight fits, wiggling it out, and reach-arounds![]()
This has also worked for me in life so far.they suggested pushing in, then pulling out. I tried that and it worked.
