I believe the latch re-seats once you are done yanking, you gotta do a reach-around and pull the charger cord out while you're yanking the release.....
My life experience has also taught me that when in doubt, a reach around followed by a good yank is often the most effective course of action.

That's why I mentioned it. Your experience, that is.

An older friend has two daughters, who once asked, after a bad double entendre..."You guys never actually grow up do you?"
Most people still growing up in their late teens. Then they start growing down.

I may or may not have a 13 year old humor....

I didn't want to be the first to say it, but THIS! Manual releases, yanking, tight fits, wiggling it out, and reach-arounds :CWL:
I lost it at "The port has loosened up with more use"
they suggested pushing in, then pulling out. I tried that and it worked.
This has also worked for me in life so far.

You gotta have the right timing between pulling it out and the latch release though.

If you have a pencil laying around, you could try scribbling on the outer rim of the charge cable. It will act like lube for the port hole for future use.

(now I feel dirty)

In the male brain, the sense of humor stops developing at age 14. Therefore, whatever was funny at 14 will remain funny for the rest of your life.
