Any need to have accessories for my R1S I'm picking up in a week?

As title suggests, I'll be picking up my Rivian in about a week, I was wondering in terms of accessories what should I have before hand?

I have currently purchased the twraps "MagSafe Compatible Dual Wireless Charger", & the armrest organizer. What else would you suggest I get before hand.

Also as a side-note, it would be greatly appreciated if someone could offer solutions to the sunroof. I live in California and it gets really hot in my area, during the summer easily hits triple digits.

What you want to do with it

that being said, drop stop is a universal addition I can recommend to any vehicle

also a usb c ssh HD like the Samsung t7 shield or sandisk extreme in a size equal to or larger than 1TB would be good if you plan on using Gear Guard

For the roof i used an Amazon brand Sunshade (BestEvMod)
TWraps or Abstract Ocean or Hannshow or someone similar probably offer very similar options

mine matches my OC interior and I have a low profile roof rack from SpiderRoofRacks so I just leave it their year round

tinting on the windows is also very popular
The front windows and windshield transmit a ton of heat
I went with a clear ceramic, other just tint and roll the dice with legality

That makes sense, I'll be getting the R1 S. It's going to be used as a daily.

I just picked up a 258 GB Samsung USB-C thumb stick, hoping that would be enough to use the gearguard as well as the dash cam. I'm assuming it's going to rewrite the oldest video every single time. I don't need anything super special in terms of keeping data, as I'll only need to take it out in case of an accident.

I actually already have the roof rails from Rivian, I will have to check out the Amazon brand sunshade. Kind of hoping for something that will allow visibility through, but also keep the sun from beating down too hard.

I have thought about tinting, one thing I have my heart set on is doing the chrome delete.

I opted in for the forest-edge interior, hoping to minimize the heat trapped inside the car.

Considering that I live in California, I do not want to roll the dice legally. That clear ceramic coat sounds like a good option. Thank you!!

The only things I had before pick up was the EV Sportline 3D Spider floor mats, and a Samsung T7 hard drive for drive cam. Then I got a phone mount and a couple other things in the weeks after.

In hindsight, the only things that I would really have wanted at delivery are:

Frunk Liner
Rear Cargo Liner
Tesla adapter (there are pages of threads on which one to get, but this is what I have and has worked for me)
Screen cleaner thingee
Rear screen protector (because my children are terrorists)

Thank you, yes runnig boards are on my list, shopping around on those.

I am planning on using the frunk as a cooler most of the time, so I would have to think about that liner.

I already have a phone mount from my previous car, but most likey would be using the onboard UI, for most things.

As stated I already have my "hard drive", hoping 256gb is enough.

Why would I need a "OBD2 to 12v Outlet"?

Yes, I have been concidering the mud flaps, but I have the underbody protection, so not sure if I will need it.

I may opt for the rear cargo liner, but the Frunk might be used a cooler, most of the time, so not sure if that would effect the drainage.

I already have the Lectron Tesla to J1772, adapter, the non-super charger one, after talking with Rivian, I was informed they would be mailing out the adapters for superchargers once Tesla opens them up.

No 12v in the front two rows vehicle anymore! At launch there was a 12v outlet under the large screen. Why did Rivian remove this from an adventure vehicle??

Can be used for many things but I use it for my travel trailer backup camera.

If you’ll have dogs or particularly dirty or greasy stuff in the back, I’ll second the suggestion of Canvasback trunk liners. They are excellent. Perfect fit. Easy to install. Easy to clean. Very durable. Not cheap compared to generic options, but a much nicer look and better fit.
