Driving disabled. Service parking brake system

Parked in a lot a short distance from home for less than an hour. Tried to start my 2025 R1T; nothing happened except this message: "Driving disabled service park brake system"
A call to Rivian road service gave me 2 suggestions:
1 - Make sure front wheels are straight (they were turned right about 15 deg).
2 - Do a hard reboot
I did both and it worked. I'm not sure which suggestion did it.
My question is: What caused this to happen?

Either your parking brake needs to be serviced, or your software had a hiccup. It’s a big computer…
